Set up your account

Avatar, language, theme, default currency, sidebar preferences.

A few settings to take care of on day one so Nexte adapts to your language, currency and visual style. Everything can be changed later from Settings.

Avatar and name

  1. Sidebar then Profile (top, below your avatar).
  2. Click your avatar to upload an image (PNG or JPG, auto cropped).
  3. Fill in your full name, your job title and a unique username if you want to enable your public link in bio page later.
  4. Short bio, skills, hourly rate: these fuel your profile and some Atlas generated proposals.

Theme, language, currency

Sidebar then Settings then Preferences tab. Three settings side by side:

  • Theme: Light, Dark, or Auto (follows OS).
  • Language: French or English. The switch is instant, the whole app and notifications get translated.
  • Default currency: EUR, USD, GBP, CHF or CAD. Used for new quotes and invoices.
The currency is only the default. Each invoice, quote or subscription can use its own currency when created.

Sidebar preferences

  • Auto collapse: the sidebar folds on its own on pages where the main workspace needs full width (e.g. proposal editor).
  • Custom folders: reorder sidebar groups (Projects, Clients, Documents) and arrange your favorite pages into your own folders.
The collapse or expand sidebar button is at the top, next to the search icon. On hover, the cursor turns into a horizontal double arrow.
